Where are you now?

Today I saw sunrise
A light through the mist
A breath of light
Was that you?
And where are you now?

The morning is fresh
Fall’s apples are great!
A shadow by the tree.
Could that be you?
And where are you now?

I see mother and child
Walking on the street
Someone beside them
I’m sure it’s you.
And where are you now?

The old man says
“Now I get it!”
You help him see. I know.
Must have been you.
And where are you now?

The grandchild smiles
Then cries then laughs
A glance over my shoulder
You again?
And where are you now?

The wife comes home
She smiles and says
I love you
Did you bring her?
And where are you now?

The night was crisp
The stars were bright
The man watches from the moon
Is that you?
And where are you now?

Sunday at church
So many came
They prayed and sang
Were you there?
And where are you now?

She passed! She passed!
Daughter gets license
To practice at law!
Did you help?
And where are you now?

Still I want proof
Like Pi and Chi-Squared
A proof for today that all can believe!
Do that for me!
And where are you now?
